The Data Demand & Prioritisation Lead is a key role within the Data & Analytics team, responsible for shaping and delivering functional strategy while role modelling Post Office behaviours and maintaining a Postmaster-first mindset. Acting as the strategic bridge between the data function and the wider business, the role leads the design and management of the Data Demand and Data & Analytics Review Panel, the ‘front door’ for all data requests. This ensures a clear, prioritised pipeline of work aligned to business goals and delivering maximum value.
You will:
- Establish and lead the Data Demand & Analytics Review Panel to manage incoming demand and prioritisation of work
- Own the end-to-end data demand pipeline, ensuring alignment to organisational strategy, impact and ROI
- Act as the key interface between Data & Analytics and business stakeholders, driving engagement and alignment
- Lead communications across the Data & Analytics function to enhance transparency, understanding and adoption
- Develop and implement interventions to improve performance, insight-led decision making and delivery outcomes
- Foster a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement and high performance across teams

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experienced strategic leader with a proven track record of collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver strategies that achieve business objectives
- Strong background in building and maintaining successful cross-functional stakeholder relationships, stakeholder mapping, and client-facing engagement
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects and change programmes, including governance forums, portfolio prioritisation processes, and benefits realisation
- Skilled in developing and executing communication and engagement strategies, translating complex technical concepts into clear and accessible messaging
- Experience working in data, digital, and technical development environments, with the ability to work effectively alongside development teams and understand product complexity
- Knowledge of change management and behavioural science, using targeted interventions and engagement activities to drive adoption and measurable business outcomes
