We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Configuration Administrator to join our Service Platform team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the integrity of our ServiceNow platform, supporting the effective management of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Application Portfolio, and Service Portfolio environments.
As a CMDB Administrator, you will contribute to the delivery of team objectives while demonstrating a strong Postmaster First mindset and embodying Post Office values and behaviours. You'll be responsible for configuring and operating ServiceNow CMDB-related modules, executing authorised changes, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring platform data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. Working closely with colleagues across Technology and Service Management, you'll help drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a culture of collaboration and inclusion.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver business and operational objectives.
- Experience using ServiceNow administration tools, including CMDB configuration, class and table management, relationship management, update sets, and platform upgrades.
- Hands-on experience managing CMDB Health, Data Manager functions, discovery source mapping, transform maps, import sets, and reporting.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, cloud connectors, and troubleshooting data quality and integration issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience resolving data integrity, automation, and technical platform issues.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality outcomes, driving continuous improvement, and using data and insights to inform decision-making.
