The Business Manager to the CEO, acts as a strategic and operational extension of the CEO within the broker business. The role exists to drive focus, discipline and execution across CEO priorities; ensure the business is aligned to agreed strategy and delivery commitments; and provide high-quality commercial, governance and performance support to enable effective decision-making at Executive and Board level.
The role balances strategic coordination with hands-on delivery, ensuring that priorities are progressed at pace, risks and issues are surfaced early, and the organisation operates with clarity, accountability and control.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate significant previous experience in a Business Manager, Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Operations Support, Governance Support or similar role. In addition to this you will have;
- Experience supporting senior leaders, ideally at CEO, Managing Director or Board level.
- Strong experience preparing internal communications, leadership updates, reports, presentations and meeting materials.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional and audience-appropriate content.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
- Experience working in insurance, financial services, regulated services or another professional business environment.
- Good commercial awareness, with the ability to understand the wider business context.
- Strong judgement and ability to understand business priorities quickly.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and AI.
