The Project Manager is a key member of the Transformation team, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset.
The Project Manager will manage and lead projects end to end, working cross‑functionally to deliver business solutions, ensuring that the critical success factors are met while scope, time, quality and cost of the projects are maintained. Demonstrating strong senior stakeholder management skills to ensure that communication is clear and concise, and deliverables are progressed, contributing towards overall programme and portfolio outcomes. They will embody a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance, with a key focus on delivery.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience leading projects within Finance, Banking or Insurance sectors is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and collaborate cross‑functionally to drive successful outcomes and business decisions.
- A trusted advisor with the ability to apply knowledge of their own specialism as well as knowledge of related areas.
- Commercial business acumen with the ability to make data‑driven business decisions.
- Displays a passion for pursuing personal development opportunities and expanding industry knowledge.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to upholding the values and principles of Post Office.
- An ambassador for promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within all areas of responsibility.
- Measurable experience of running change management projects in flexibility and within framework standards and timescales.
- Strong budget management and funding knowledge.
- Demonstrable project management experience and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong leadership and people management skills and experience.
