What to expect

As a Production Advisor you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role reporting into the Head of Colleague Communications & Engagement. The Production Advisor is a key member of the Corporate Affairs team, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Production Advisor will share their expertise in enterprise-grade production, demonstrating best practice across creative and technical production of internal communication events. The Production Advisor will deliver flawless, enterprise-grade production, create polished multimedia collateral, and uphold best-in-class standards that reinforce employee trust and protect organisational reputation. They will embody a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance; with a key focus on delivering All-Hands meetings, Town Halls, Leadership broadcasts and Webinars (virtual, hybrid and in person).

What you’ll need to succeed

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience collaborating with peers, colleagues, and stakeholders to contribute to the delivery of functional strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading on the delivery of project milestones to achieve key objectives.
  • Experienced in corporate/internal comms event production (virtual, hybrid and in-person)
  • Proven record of technical excellence and high-quality creative delivery and producing large Exec colleague events
  • Strong video and presentation production portfolio demonstrating consistency and quality internal experience ideally but not essential
  • Experience collaborating with IT teams on livestream stability, security and network readiness and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Expert in virtual and hybrid event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams or equivalent webinar/livestream software)
  • Live production competency including audio/video switching, stream management, mic configuration, bandwidth optimisation, recordings, Q&A and polls
  • Strong understanding of AV hardware, signal flow, broadcast backups and failure-risk mitigation
  • Ability to build production playbooks, run-of-show docs and technical checklists

Creative & Multimedia

  • Advanced presentation design (PowerPoint / Google Slides): storytelling, visual design, formatting precision, motion or video integration
  • Video editing and production proficiency (Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent) basic video capture, lighting and sound configuration for studio and on location recording
  • Ability to create branded assets, lower-thirds, splash screens, transitions or multimedia packages

Stakeholder & Delivery

  • Experience supporting senior leaders as presenters/hosts in high-visibility environments
  • Exceptional organisation, timing discipline and attention-to-detail with strong written and verbal communications, translate needs to outcomes
  • Ability to deliver against tight deadlines without compromising quality
