As a member of the Senior Leadership Population, the PMO Director is required to proactively participate as a member of the business leadership team in the development and delivery of Organisational and functional strategies, always role modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset.

As the PMO Director within the Transformation function, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the portfolio of transformation initiatives to drive alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing standardised methodologies and frameworks, ensuring that all projects are managed effectively and in compliance with Post Office standards. You will support the timely and cost-effective delivery of transformation programs that enhance operational efficiency. This role is essential to fostering accountability, collaboration, and transparency across teams, ensuring the organisation can achieve its long-term goals and continuous improvement agenda., Our commitment to embracing diversity extends beyond just words.   • Demonstrate extensive experience of adoption and integration of new processes, tools and technologies across organisations.

  • Possess proficiency in corporate governance frameworks and compliance, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory and organisation standards.

  • Have a deep understanding of change management frameworks to drive successful adoption and integration of new processes and tools across Post Office.

  • Be skilled in using project management to manage schedule, monitor milestones and provide transparent reporting across all projects.

  • Demonstrate strong data analysis skills, to interpret performance data, generate insights and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.

  • Possess significant experience of building and demonstrating credibility by influencing senior stakeholders including board members.

  • Be a strategic thinking with demonstrable experience of strategy development and implementation in complex organisations.

  • Possess strong leadership skills, budget management, and workforce planning.
