As Head of IT services you will undertake a critical role responsible for ensuring our IT services, suppliers and technology controls operate reliably, securely, and in alignment with business needs. Your role will ensure that we maximise value from outsourced partners and maintain a robust cyber and operational risk posture.

The Head of IT Services is required to proactively participate in the development and delivery of functional strategy and commercial objectives, always modelling appropriate leadership behaviours and demonstrating a customer first mindset. To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced IT Services professional with proven experience in the Insurance and ideally Insurance Broking sector. In addition to this, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing high value, large IT outsourcing contracts.
  • Extensive hands on experience across infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and application management.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, including vulnerability management, patching governance, and secure-by-design principles.
  • Proven capability in managing ITIL‑aligned service management processes (incident, problem, change, and release management).
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as PCI‑DSS, GDPR, and FCA requirements (preferred).
  • Professional certifications (ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure, or similar) beneficial.
  • Possess first-class communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence.
