An exciting opportunity has arisen in our transformation department to join as our Head of Delivery and Change Profession. Join us as we embark on multiple transformation programmes that will reshape Post Office. The Head of Delivery & Change Profession will lead the establishment of an overall business change framework including benefits realisation, programme management, and business analysis, for a complex, high-impact transformational change portfolio. This role ensures the successful delivery of strategic initiatives by embedding best practices, building capability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the programme delivery community. This role will lead the Centre of Programme Excellence, providing professional leadership for the business analysis, change, and programme and project management profession. They will ensure effective career path management and the professionalisation of the programme and project management and change teams.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Demonstrable experience leading large teams: collaborating with senior leaders, to shape and deliver functional strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Substantial experience convening multiple stakeholders and through successful relationships, leading key cross-functional projects to drive results across the organisation.
- Experience in leading and driving change aligned to functional and business strategies.
- Proven experience in a senior PMO leadership role, ideally within complex transformation environments, including setting up and embedding a programme and project Centre of Excellence.
- Comprehensive experience and knowledge of best practice in portfolio, programme, project, and change management both in a waterfall and agile environment.
- Experience with portfolio management tools (e.g., Clarity PPM, Planview, MS Project Online, Jira).
- An expert advisor with the ability to apply advanced knowledge of portfolio controls as well as broad knowledge of related areas.
- Strong understanding of portfolio, programme management, and change delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, MSP), and governance frameworks.
