The Product Governance Executive supports the delivery of effective Product Governance across Post Office Insurance's product portfolio, helping to ensure compliance with FCA PROD 4 and Consumer Duty requirements. The role is responsible for the coordination and administration of core product governance activity across the product lifecycle; including product approvals, in-life reviews, fair value assessments and Consumer Duty outcome testing. This includes the identification and escalation of product, conduct and customer outcome risks; where governance is incomplete, unclear or indicates potential consumer harm.
Working as part of the first-line Product Governance team, the Product Governance Executive supports consistent, well-evidenced governance processes and maintains accurate records, MI and documentation, while working closely with Product, Commercial, Risk and Compliance teams. The successful candidate for this role will have proven experience in a Product Governance, Conduct Risk, Compliance, Product, Operations or related role within financial services, insurance or a regulated environment. In addition to this, you will have:
- Working knowledge of FCA Product Governance (PROD 4) requirements within insurance or financial services.
- Understanding of Consumer Duty principles, including fair value and customer outcomes.
- Familiarity with insurance products and regulated governance processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with documentation and data.
- Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Confident using MI, trackers and governance documentation to support reporting and decision-making.
- Relevant professional qualification or working towards one desirable (e.g. insurance, compliance, conduct, risk or product-related).
