The Business Analyst Profession Manager role will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts and working with the Head of Delivery & Change Profession to set the direction, define the strategy, and roadmap for the future shape of the business analysis function within the Post Office.
As Head of the Business Analysis Profession, they will develop frameworks and define common standards and processes, ensuring a consistent and high quality approach to business analysis.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Substantial experience delivering business analysis in a complex Transformation Programme.
- Demonstrable experience leading a large business analysis team: collaborating with senior leaders to shape, set, and deliver functional strategy.
- Planning and successfully leading a team through change.
- Substantial experience convening multiple stakeholders and building strong relationships to lead key cross‑functional projects.
- Experience leading and driving change aligned to functional and business strategies.
- Knowledgeable in Lean, Agile and BPR methodologies and approaches.
- An empowering senior manager who can speak with knowledge, authority, and confidence in their subject matter, guiding their team toward success.
- Advanced influencing and communication skills; using a range of techniques to deliver messages effectively and drive a successful outcome.
- Ability to maintain strong and influential relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders to build support for business plans.
- Strong commercial business acumen and ability to make data‑driven business decisions.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to upholding the values and principles of Post Office.
- A proven track record of actively promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within all areas of responsibility, particularly in a transformation function.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
