We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s team as a Garage Equipment Installation Engineer. 4 Day Working Week! This is a great opportunity to begin or build upon a career in the automotive industry, working hands-on with garage equipment in car workshops across the UK. Please note: This role involves being away from home 3 nights a week (Monday–Thursday), every week. Accommodation and expenses are covered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist with installations of garage equipment such as vehicle lifts, tyre changers, wheel balancers, and alignment systems
- Work from technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and alignment
- Learn on the job alongside experienced engineers
- Attend training sessions to stay up to date with the latest tech
- Help maintain documentation and learn to complete necessary paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
- A technical mindset – basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and a strong willingness to learn
- Problem-solving ability – able to follow instructions and develop troubleshooting skills
- Physically capable – comfortable lifting equipment and working with your hands

Pay & Perks:
- £28,000 Starting Salary
- Plus: ~ on average £4,000 per year in voluntary overtime
