A specialist manufacturer and service provider of automotive emissions testing equipment is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the London region.

The role focuses on servicing, maintaining, calibrating and repairing emissions testing machines manufactured by the business. Equipment is installed within MOT stations, independent workshops and dealer environments and must remain fully compliant with DVSA requirements.

This is a field based position involving planned preventative maintenance, calibration visits and reactive breakdown support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair emissions testing equipment
  • Carry out calibration and verification in line with DVSA standards
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on site
  • Install and commission new emissions testing machines when required
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience with emissions testing equipment is beneficial but not essential

  • Clear communicator with customers and internal teams
  • Reliable, organised and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working independently in a customer facing role
  • Organised, professional and reliable
  • Full UK driving licence
