East Yorkshire based UK travel with stay-aways (23 nights per week). We are looking for a tyre equipment specialist to join a leading garage equipment company, specialising in the installation of tyre machines and wheel balancers across the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing new tyre changers and wheel balancers at customer sites
- Removing and safely disposing of old equipment
- Carrying out minor single-phase electrical work
- Fitting small runs of airline pipework where needed
- Providing on-site training to technicians after installation
- Travelling across the UK with 23 nights away from home per week
What you'll need:
- Solid experience with garage/workshop equipment installation OR experienced vehicle technician with significant experience & knowledge in tyre/wheel equipment.
- Basic electrical knowledge (single-phase connections)
- Comfortable doing light pipework installations
- Confident delivering training to end users
- C1 category licence (essential for driving 3.5t+ vehicles)
- Flexibility for frequent UK travel and nights away
