We are looking for a skilled Garage Equipment Engineer to join a long-established and well-respected name in the garage equipment industry. This is a field-based role with a great mix of hands-on technical work, national travel, and customer interaction.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of essential garage equipment including:
- Vehicle lifts
- Brake testers
- Compressors
- Wheel balancers & tyre changers
- And more
No two days are the same, and you will be trusted to manage your workload with the support of a close-knit, expert team behind you.
What you will be doing:
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and system faults on-site
- Carring out scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance
- Managing van stock levels and ordering replacement parts when needed
- Communicating clearly with customers and providing technical support where required
- Keeping accurate records and reporting back to management
What you will need:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the Garage Equipment sector
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Basic IT confidence (tablets, service reports, etc.) - training provided if needed
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays
