Job Description

Keep the UKs workshops running smoothly.Were looking for a skilled Garage Equipment Engineer to join a long-established and well-respected name in the garage equipment industry. This is a field-based role with a great mix of hands-on technical work, national travel, and customer interaction.Youll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of essential garage equipmenteverything from vehicle lifts to brake testers and tyre machines. No two days are the same, and youll be trusted to manage your workload with the support of a close-knit, expert team behind you.What youll be doing:Installing and servicing a variety of garage equipment, including:Vehicle liftsBrake testersCompressorsWheel balancers & tyre changers& moreDiagnosing mechanical, electrical, and system faults on-siteCarrying out scheduled inspections and preventative maintenanceManaging van stock levels and ordering replacement parts when neededCommunicating clearly with customers and providing technical support where requiredKeeping accurate records and reporting back to managementWhat youll need:Minimum of 2 years experience in the Garage Equipment sectorStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent communication and organisational skillsBasic IT confidence (tablets, service reports, etc.)training provided if neededFull UK driving licence (clean)Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight staysWhats in it for you:Starting salary from £32,000 £40,000 per yearOvertime opportunitiesCompany van, tablet & phone provided20 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)Company pension schemeLife insuranceOngoing training and developmentWork with leading garage equipment brands in a growing industryAbout our client:Our client is a leading UK provider of end-to-end solutions for modern garage workshops.
