Help people using our services to live the lives they choose based on what they need and what is important to them. You will assist with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, meals, and support people in daily activities to help them maintain independence. All work should be done with dignity and respect for mental and physical health.

Your Role

  • Deliver personal care and support tailored to each individual, ensuring safety, dignity, and respect.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, oral health, dressing and nail care.
  • Manage medication accurately and support people with the medication process.
  • Prepare and help people with meals following dietary requirements.
  • Perform household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing and shopping.
  • Encourage a social and active lifestyle as desired by the individual.
  • Provide companionship to reduce isolation.
  • Collaborate with Support Officers to plan and review care and support needs.
  • Record the care provided, feedback, and essential information for continuity of care.
  • Report and record concerns regarding a person’s well-being.
