Positive Wealth Creation Ltd is an established, independent financial planning firm based in Burnham-on-Sea. We provide high-quality, considered advice to a wide-ranging client base and pride ourselves on delivering a highly personalised, professional service.

We are now looking to recruit an Operations Administrator to become a central part of our team. This is not a generic back-office role, it is a varied, front-of-house position combining client interaction, technical administration, and operational support across the business.

The Role

This position sits at the heart of our day-to-day operations and will involve:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients, including welcoming visitors and managing incoming calls
  • Preparing client meeting packs, regulatory documents, and portfolio reports (Intelliflo)
  • Managing Letters of Authority and liaising with providers to obtain information
  • Supporting advisers with research using tools such as Iress Exchange, FE Analytics and provider platforms
  • Processing applications, encashments, and transactions across platforms including Aviva, Fidelity and AJ Bell
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating Intelliflo throughout the advice process
  • Chasing providers and managing workflows to ensure timely case completion
  • Handling sensitive documentation including identification, probate papers and policy documents
  • Assisting with regular business reporting, including income tracking and client servicing activity
  • Managing post, client correspondence, and general office organisation

This role also carries a strong front-of-house element , so professionalism, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident dealing with clients both in person and over the telephone
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a structured and regulated environment
  • Proactive and able to work independently whilst supporting a close-knit team

Experience in financial services is strongly preferred. In particular, the following would be advantageous:

  • Working knowledge of Intelliflo
  • Experience with adviser platforms such as Aviva, Fidelity or AJ Bell
  • Progress towards CII qualifications

Working Arrangements

Ideally this is an office-based position due to the client-facing nature of the role. However, we are open to flexibility to suit the right candidate, including:

  • 5 days per week with 1 day working from home, or
  • a 4-day working week
