Positive Support Group is a specialist provider of Positive Behaviour Support and related services for children, young people and adults with complex needs. We work with the NHS, integrated care boards, local authorities and other care providers. Our services help people live safer, more fulfilling lives in their communities and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions and placement breakdowns.

PSG is growing. We have an ambitious commercial plan, new partnerships and a clear strategy to extend our reach across the UK. We are building a new Growth and Partnerships directorate to deliver it, and this is one of its key roles.

The role

This is a new post, and you will be PSG's first dedicated marketing and communications lead. You will own how PSG presents itself to commissioners, partners, professionals and future colleagues. You will shape our brand, content and campaigns, and build a marketing function that supports growth across the business.

You will work closely with the commercial team, our clinical leaders and our operational teams. Together you will turn our clinical expertise and outcomes into clear, credible communications that commissioners and partners respond to.

What you will do

  • Lead PSG's brand and messaging. You will make sure our brand is consistent and well-presented across every channel.
  • Own our digital presence. You will manage the website and social channels, and improve their content, performance and lead generation.
  • Plan and run campaigns. You will deliver campaigns for our key services and markets, including Provider Solutions and Case Management, and measure what they deliver.
  • Produce content and thought leadership. You will create case studies, articles, reports and outcome stories with our clinical and operational teams.
  • Run our events programme. You will manage our presence at conferences, exhibitions and awards, and help develop PSG's own events.
  • Support bids and proposals. You will provide strong written and visual content for tenders and partnership proposals.
  • Support recruitment. You will work with HR to position PSG as an employer of choice and attract the clinicians and practitioners we need.
  • Lead internal communications. You will keep colleagues informed and connected as the organisation grows.
  • Manage suppliers and budget. You will oversee agencies, designers and freelancers and manage the marketing budget.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally in health, social care, education or another public sector-facing organisation
  • Excellent writing skills, and the ability to explain complex clinical services clearly and accurately
  • Hands‑on experience managing websites, social media, email marketing and analytics
  • Experience planning and delivering integrated B2B or business-to-government campaigns
  • Confidence working on your own initiative and building a function from the ground up
  • Strong organisation, with the ability to manage several projects and stakeholders at once
  • An understanding of, or a strong interest in, the commissioning landscape for health and social care
  • Experience of events management, bid writing or design tools such as Canva or Adobe is an advantage.

What we offer

  • Salary of £45,000–£50,000, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working
  • 23 Days Annual Leave
  • Your birthday off
  • Company culture that supports you with professional development through performance management and appraisals
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Tax‑Efficient Pension
  • Weekly Wellbeing Hour
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Enhanced Maternity pay
  • Referral bonus
  • A new role with real influence in a growing, investor-backed organisation
  • The chance to shape the marketing function from the start and develop your career as PSG grows
