Reporting: Project Manager – Education and Guidance

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

The Role

Do you enjoy working with young people and making a difference? We are looking for a confident person to join our team as a Youth Engagement Worker. You will support young people, helping them to develop the confidence and skills needed to be successful in the next phase of their lives. The role includes working closely with Career Advisers, Coaches, and other Youth Engagement Workers to develop creative methods of engagement and collaboration, aiming to achieve positive outcomes.

Vital to the role is the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with our young people, many of whom will be experiencing significant barriers. The role also involves working to targets and establishing good relationships with schools, colleges, learning providers, employers and key partners. You would be expected to travel throughout Rochdale and surrounding boroughs.
