Are you passionate about supporting people to overcome barriers, realise their strengths and make positive changes in their lives? We are looking for a committed and motivated Senior Engagement Worker to join our Wellbeing Hub team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults open to Probation, supporting them to address a range of challenges and move towards more positive futures.
Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, you will work alongside individuals to identify their goals, build resilience and access the support they need to progress. Through a combination of one-to-one interventions, group work and partnership working, you will play a vital role in helping people reduce barriers, improve wellbeing and achieve sustainable change.
About the Role
The Wellbeing Hub supports adults referred through the Probation Service who may be experiencing a range of complex issues. As a Senior Engagement Worker, you will manage a caseload of adults on probation, delivering engaging and meaningful interventions that promote personal responsibility, confidence and positive outcomes. You will facilitate both individual and group-based sessions, helping people to recognise their strengths and develop the skills and motivation needed to move forward.
Working closely with Probation colleagues and community partners, you will help create effective pathways into services and opportunities that support rehabilitation and reduce the risk of reoffending. Experience of working within criminal justice, probation, rehabilitation or community support services would be particularly valuable.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated and passionate team committed to improving outcomes for adults across Oldham. Every day brings the chance to support someone to overcome barriers, build on their strengths and make lasting changes in their lives.
If you are an enthusiastic professional who believes in peopleβs capacity for change and wants to make a real difference in your community, we would love to hear from you. Join us and help people build brighter futures through support, opportunity and positive change.
