Our Leicestershire based clients are looking for a passionate, motivated and highly skilled 3D Senior Creative Designer to join their team in a full time and permanent role. Working with a variety of beauty/health and cosmetic brands on retail experiences. Experience within the Retail POS (Health & Beauty) industry is essential and comfortable working within a busy fast paced industry is a MUST.
The Senior Creative Designer will already have a strong background in Creative/Concept Design and will be able to support this with a portfolio and examples of their retail design skills. In addition to their Design skills, the Senior Creative Designer will need excellent communication skills as presenting ideas to internal teams and externally to clients will be part of the role.
The role:
- Conducting research & gathering insights that consider psychology and customer behaviours which then translate into design outputs.
- Taking briefs directly from clients and account managers.
- Leading a project by thoroughly evaluating a brief; establishing a clear understanding of the budget, timescales and other constraints involved; and guiding the more junior team members through the process.
- Generating creative concept design ideas through sketching, CAD modelling & visualisation is crucial.
- Presenting to your colleagues and to clients, explaining the rationale behind your ideas.
- Working closely with 2D and Technical designers to follow concepts through to development and production, ensuring the creative intent is upheld; a hands-on/hands-ready approach is vital.
- Sharing your knowledge and expertise with less senior team members to enable their development.
The candidate:
- A real passion for Design, both in and out of work.
- Proficiency in 3DS Max/ V-Ray/Adobe CC is essential. Sketch-up experience would be an advantage.
- A passion for delivering retail experiences that consider the brand, customer, marketplace and competitor landscape.
- Calm, positive and can-do attitude when working on challenging projects and ensuring this is maintained throughout the team.
- Able to present to a wider audience, engaging them in your story both internally and to clients.
- Work collaboratively, suggesting ideas and concepts in relation to challenging client briefs.
- The ability to be client-facing and build strategic customer relationships.
