Office Manager Northamptonshire Permanent| Office Based Full time Salary Circa £30-£35k Our Northants based POS clients are looking for an Office Manager to join their team in a full time and permanent role. They will play a central role to the team, office based and always on hand to offer any help and support required to the wider team and Clients alike. The Office Manager role requires an experienced individual, who has worked across a wide range of company activities at a senior office management level. They need to be comfortable to take responsibility for this range of activities, to be able to manage the conflicting demands of the role and to provide a central resource for the rest of the team. This role requires a good communicator, someone with a good level of IT literacy and the confidence and ability to take on new tasks and to make decisions as they are required. Key Responsibilities include: * General office management, responsibility for the office environment, managing the cleaning contractors and being responsible for all office and kitchen supplies across the company * Managing all our key business accounts, such as utilities, security, IT, Phones and local authority, to ensure the business is always in good shape and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. * Providing support for the sales team with project management, system updates and client communications. Assisting with the management of the smaller projects, liaising with suppliers and being a central point of contact for the production team and clients alike. * Overseeing the despatch function for the sales team, ensuring the right supplier is used for each project, resolving issues as and when they arise, and making sure goods are delivered on time to the client. * Being the key contact for all office suppliers and managing all communications with them to ensure continuity of support and contact. Managing all support contact with our IT provider, and emergency / security suppliers as well. * Responsibility for all company insurances, managing the safekeeping of all company property, and dealing with any contractors required for building maintenance and upkeep. * Supporting Finance with supplier communications and queries, providing back up for production and general purchasing as and when required. Skills Required will include: * Experience as an Office Manager/ Senior level administrator * Excellent communication skills both with Clients and internally * Client facing project management experience * Good sense of humour and approachable manner * Organised and disciplined, you will be the keeper of key company information * IT literate, all-round experience with IT systems such as finance, HR and Project Management * Reliable self-starter that just gets things done * Willingness to adapt and help out where needed * Enthusiasm to learn and overcome obstacles independently
