We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Junior Artworker to join our Leicester based POS clients in a full time and permanent role. Working within a team of experienced Artworkers, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn from their colleagues and progress in the world of POS and Retail Design.

The role:

  • Working on a range of projects for a variety of clients you will be creating print ready 2D artwork for retail & POS.
  • Ensuring that this is accurate, consistent and within the clients brand guidelines.
  • Generation of 2D artwork for print, on-brand, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Setting up artwork and ensuring correct fonts, colours and assets are used.
  • Answering queries regarding the brand values/design direction to ensure the artwork is always true to client expectation.
  • Checking all aspects of artwork pre-submission.
  • Communicating with the accounts & projects team ensuring punctual delivery and submission of the artwork according to agreed deadlines.

The Candidate:

  • Motivated, enthusiastic & passionate about artworking.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of print ready/pre-press artwork set up.
  • Able to work efficiently to deadlines.
  • Work across multiple tasks at once.
  • Able to listen, record and make relevant artwork amendments feedback and make.
  • Previous experience/knowledge in artworking for POS/Retail (an advantage).
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Adobe cc (InDesign & Illustrator), Microsoft Office.
