ARTWORKER / PRINT OPERATOR LEICESTERSHIRE FULL TIME | PERMANENT SALARY D.O.E Our Leicestershire clients are looking for an experienced and hands on Artworker /Print Operator to join their team in a full time and permanent dual role. The successful candidate will work on retail projects for both pre press Artwork and operating/maintaining large format machines. The division of the roles will be dependant on workload and the needs of the business. As well as bringing their experience in Artworking/ hands on print operation they will also need to bring the right level of enthusiasm for this fast paced environment and interest in continuing to learn and grow with an expanding company and team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established, forward thinking and growing business for a candidate who requires a varied role and wants to use their skills in a varied Artworking/ print production role. The role/responsibilities * Create and prepare artwork using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. * Set up, manage and run large format print jobs on machines (HP) * Check artwork is print-ready * Work with internal teams managing workloads between design/production * Ensure standards are met for all jobs, flagging any issues * Work well with other colleagues across production assisting and stepping outside of the role when required with tasks such as finishing. The candidate * Experience/background in large format print production * Experience in an artworking role * Competent with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) β Essential * High level of competency and attention to detail * Manages their time and tasks well, within a busy fast paced environment * Knowledge of Onyx software β An advantage * Practical experience working with large format print machinery. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. * A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to prioritise task *Please note own transport will be required due to location *Sponsorship is not being offered for this role
