Duties

As a Support Worker, you would be working within a Supported Living Service for Younger Adults, which provides support for young people who have severe learning disabilities. This fantastic service provides support for individuals with profound, multiple learning disabilities providing them Residential Schooling and a home where they receive high levels of care.

  • Personal Care needs such as washing and getting ready for bed.
  • Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
  • Doing regular checks throughout the night.
  • Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
  • Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the children & your work colleagues.
  • Recording information and administration.
