Duties
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the home and act as a role model for the staff team. You will:
- Provide leadership and supervision to care staff.
- Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.
- Support the development and implementation of tailored care/support plans.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Ofsted standards and internal policies.
- Foster a homely, therapeutic environment.
- Promote positive outcomes and resilience.
Criteria
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK – No sponsorship is available.
- Previous experience working within a residential children\’s setting.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team effectively.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding practices and children\’s home regulations.
- A passion for improving the lives of children with EBD and learning disabilities.
