Full Time, Permanent Deputy Children\’s Home Manager job vacancy Location: Swindon, Wiltshire.Salary: £35,300 per annum (Includes 1 Sleep-in per week).

Duties

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the home and act as a role model for the staff team. You will:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to care staff.
  • Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.
  • Support the development and implementation of tailored care/support plans.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with Ofsted standards and internal policies.
  • Foster a homely, therapeutic environment.
  • Promote positive outcomes and resilience.

Criteria

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK – No sponsorship is available.
  • Previous experience working within a residential children\’s setting.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding practices and children\’s home regulations.
  • A passion for improving the lives of children with EBD and learning disabilities.
