Our 5-bedded Ofsted-registered therapeutic children\’s home is set in a semi-rural location on the northern outskirts of Swindon, close to the A419. With spacious grounds and outdoor activity opportunities, the home provides a safe and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.
Easily commutable from Cirencester, Faringdon, Royal Wootton Bassett, and Marlborough, the home combines a peaceful countryside feel with convenient access to Swindon.

Your Role as Deputy Manager
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the home and ensure the highest standards of care. Responsibilities include:
- Leading, supervising, and supporting the care team
- Ensuring safeguarding is prioritised at all times
- Developing and reviewing personalised care/support plans
- Maintaining compliance with Ofsted standards and company policies
- Creating a warm, homely, and therapeutic environment
- Promoting resilience and positive outcomes for children and young people
What We\’re Looking For
- Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a residential children\’s setting as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or Deputy Manager
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and ambition to complete Level 5
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Solid understanding of safeguarding practices and children\’s home regulations
- A genuine passion for improving children\’s lives

This role is subject to pre-employment safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check. It is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, which means all convictions and cautions must be declared unless protected by DBS filtering rules.
