Benefits / Hours of Work
£16.50 per hour
1 x Part Time opportunity working Monday and Saturday Term Time 9hrs per week
Plus, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday during School Holidays, 18 Hours per week.

Duties
Working directly for the case management company you will be supporting a Young Boy who is 12 years old. This bright young man has complex cerebral palsy but is determined to lead a fulfilling and life. You will take responsibility for his health, education, social, physical, psychological and emotional needs whilst working with his family, case manager and outside agencies. You will work with them in their own home as well as out within the local community. This young man has a keen interest in dogs, horses and the outdoors.

Engagement in activities ensuring safety & welfare.
Carrying out his daily routine and activities encouraging them to participate.
Apply behavioural management strategies to achieve goals.
Work with the guidance of Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and MDT team.
Assist with his tailored Therapy programme.
Assist with daily living and personal care needs.
Maintain accurate and clear records of care.
Drive to outings and appointments always ensuring safety.

Positive Outcome Recruitment have been chosen as a recruitment partner on behalf of a Case Management company, who will be your direct employer. Your place of work will be within the boy’s family home and supporting him in the community.

Criteria
Previous experience within a Social Care setting – Essential
High level of Verbal and written communication skills as well as IT Literacy.
Good sense of humour is essential, as well as a love of the outdoors.
The position requires a criminal record check through the Disclosure and Barring Service for an Enhanced DBS Check with Children’s Barred List Enhanced DBS Check with Children and Adult Barred List.
A conviction or caution will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
