SEN ICT & STEM Teacher Full-Time Permanent Job Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire

Location Stoke-on-Trent

This role is based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and is ideal for teachers living in:

  • Newcastle-under-Lyme

  • Leek

  • Stone

  • Uttoxeter

  • Congleton

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £31,650 £47,000 per year (M1 UPS2 pay scale).

Job Description SEN ICT Teacher (with STEM)

As an ICT and STEM Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths.

  • Teach across KS2, KS3, KS4, and post-16 stages.

  • Support students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and other learning needs.

  • Integrate technology to enhance learning outcomes.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop an innovative and inclusive curriculum.

  • Contribute to other subject areas as required.

  • Promote safeguarding, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this ICT & STEM Teacher role, you must have:

  • QTS, PGCE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • A strong background in ICT or STEM subjects.

  • Excellent IT skills and enthusiasm for technology in education.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection best practices.

  • The ability to motivate, engage, and build rapport with young learners.

  • Experience supporting students with anxiety or reluctance to engage.

Safeguarding & Compliance
