One position Variable hours/bank with both day and night shifts available across various patterns. One position includes set night shifts of 2 nights per week: Thursday 9:00pm–7:30am and Friday 9:00pm–8:00am.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Supporting a full time wheelchair user with moving and handling.
- Assisting with medication administration through gastrostomy.
- Assisting with blended diet administration through gastrostomy.
- Supporting him to engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
- Following individual care plans and reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors.
- Upholding dignity, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
Person Specification
Essential
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills for recording and reporting.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices.
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a care or support role.
- Level 2 or above qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
- First Aid and Manual Handling training.
- Knowledge of person‑centred care approaches.
- Understanding his specific needs (e.g., learning disability, non‑verbal, lennox gastaut syndrome, complex epilepsy, gastrostomy).
