Post: Support Worker / Outreach Worker

This post will primarily be based in a bespoke package in Redcar; however, there will be scope and opportunities to work in other projects within the Redcar and Cleveland area managed by PIPS.

Hours: 37.5 hrs, Part Time (Minimum 24 hrs)

Salary: £14.71 per hour

All applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK. For operational reasons, the company does not accept applicants with a temporary right to work.

The role involves supporting people to live active lives in the community, managing daily living skills, facilitating hobbies and interests, and helping people realise their dreams.

We provide person‑centred, individualised care with a focus on the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model.

You will receive a 2‑week induction on PBS, communication and behaviour, teaching skills, and enabling people to live the lifestyle they wish. A subsequent workplace induction allows you to learn how to support the individual in the way they prefer.

We fund staff to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care. We also offer a leadership pathway for those with the right ambition, skills and aptitude, which can take you from Support Worker to Team Leader and beyond.
