Responsibilities

• Support people to live active lives in the community, manage their daily living skills, facilitate their hobbies and interests and help people realise their dreams.
• Provide person centred individualised care with a focus on the model of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS).
• Attend a 2-week induction and learn about PBS, understanding communication and behaviour, and how to teach skills and enable people to live the lifestyle that they wish.
• Participate in a workplace induction to learn how to support the individual in the way they wish.

Qualifications
