Location: Shildon, County Durham
We are excited to announce the development of our new Children’s Home Project in Shildon, in partnership with Durham County Council. PIPS will provide care and support to 3 children / young people who have additional complex needs. Jubilee House is a specifically designed children’s home which contains 3 individual spacious living spaces. This is an opportunity to be part of this project from the start, the role involves development of the service in which you will play a key role. You will be involved in the assessment of young people, recruitment of staff and operational development of the service.

We are looking for a registered manager who:
- Has essential leadership skills, is organised, has great communication and the right values that align with PIPS.
- Champions a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach that promotes emotional safety and belonging.
- Is committed to working in partnership with the Team Around the Family.

Candidates need to have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a leadership role in a children’s residential care setting. Ideally, you will have Level 5 or be willing to work toward it within a 2-year period.
