Support Worker in Bedale

An opportunity to be part of a brand-new service: PIPS are developing a brand new service in Bedale, supporting an individual in their own home. We are in the process of developing a transition plan for an individual to move back to North Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to be part of developing this new package of support.

PIPS have created some amazing stories. We have helped individuals to live fulfilling lives in their communities in homes of their own, often for the first time in their lives.

We provide person‑centred individualised care with a focus on the model of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS). As a Support Worker, you will be directly providing support to the individual and helping to develop their skills, build their home, be a part of their community and most of all improve their quality of life.

  • You will receive a 2‑week induction and learn about PBS, understanding communication and behaviour, how to teach skills and enable people to live the lifestyle that they wish!

  • We have a leadership pathway for those who have the right ambition, skills and aptitude which can take you from Support Worker to Leader and beyond!

  • You will be supported by close working links with our existing service in Colburn, this will enable great supervision and additional support and role modelling of the great support you will deliver in this role.
