The predicted salary is between 15.21 - 15.21 £ per hour.

Location: Bishop Auckland

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hrs; Part Time Minimum 24 hrs

Salary: £15.21 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Support people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health to live active lives in the community.
  • Manage daily living skills and facilitate hobbies and interests.
  • Help individuals realise their personal goals and aspirations.
  • Deliver person‑centred, individualized care based on the Positive Behavioural Support model.

Qualifications and Experience

No previous experience or qualifications are required; training will be provided. We will support staff in completing a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.

Training & Development

  • 2‑week induction on Positive Behavioural Support, communication, behaviour, and skill teaching.
  • Workplace induction to support individuals appropriately.
  • Leadership pathway available for those with ambition, skills, and aptitude, from Support Worker to Team Leader and beyond.
