An opportunity to be part of a brand new service. PIPS are developing a brand new service in Bedale, supporting an individual in their own home. We are in the process of developing a transition plan for an individual to move back to North Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to be part of developing this new package of support.

We provide person-centred individualised care with a focus on the model of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS). As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of the leadership team, role modelling effective care and supporting both the team and the individuals themselves.
PIPS offer a competitive salary and benefits scheme including a welcome payment and a travel allowance payment to support your travel to work. You will receive a 2-week induction and learn about PBS, understanding communication and behaviour, how to teach skills and enable people to live the lifestyle that they wish. A workplace induction follows which enables you to learn how to support the individual in the way they wish.

You will be supported by close working links with our existing service in Colburn, which will enable great supervision and additional support and role modelling of the great support you will deliver in this role.
