Teaching Personnel is seeking caring, motivated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a specialist educational setting in Yeovil. Available on both a full-time and part-time basis, this rewarding opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children and young people overcome challenges and achieve their potential. The provision supports learners with a variety of additional needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech and language needs, sensory differences and social, emotional and developmental barriers. Your Contribution
- Working closely alongside teaching staff and specialist professionals, you will play an important role in supporting pupils throughout their educational journey.
- Delivering individual and small-group learning support.
- Encouraging communication, independence and social interaction.
- Assisting with classroom activities and curriculum delivery.
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
- Helping pupils access learning resources and interventions.
- Promoting engagement during lessons and enrichment activities.
- Assisting with personal care where required.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children or young people.
