The Role
Come join us as a Specialist Senior Support Worker. In this dynamic role, you'll provide exceptional support to individuals while inspiring and empowering your colleagues. As a mentor, coach, and role model, you'll lead by example, driving our mission forward and making a real difference in people's lives every day!
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Person Centred Support.
- Supporting people to be safe and healthy.
- Supporting independence, social and communication skills.
- Coaching, mentoring and supervision of staff and volunteers.

Essential Criteria
To apply for this role, you MUST have:
- One of the following: 4 years experience in a health or social care setting or QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Psychology Degree AND have a minimum of 3 years experience in a health and social care setting.
- Psychology masters degree AND have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and social care setting.
- A professional social work qualification.
- At least 2 years experience of working with people with a learning disability OR autism.
- At least 2 years experience in managing behaviours of concern through the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support.
- Previous experience providing input to developing and implementing person centred support plans (Care Plans).
- Full driving licence or an ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post.
- Be registered, or be eligible for registration on appointment, on the appropriate part of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) or other relevant professional body.
