How to prepare for a job interview at Positive Futures

✨Know Your Role Inside Out

Before the interview, make sure you understand what being a Support Worker entails. Familiarise yourself with the responsibilities listed in the job description, such as providing person-centred support and helping individuals develop key skills. This will allow you to speak confidently about how your experience aligns with their needs.

✨Showcase Relevant Experience

Be ready to share specific examples from your personal or work experience that demonstrate your ability to provide care or support. Think of situations where you made a positive impact on someone's life, especially in relation to independence and communication skills. This will help you stand out as a candidate who truly understands the role.

✨Highlight Your Driving Skills

Since a full, valid driving licence is essential for this role, be prepared to discuss your driving experience. If you have experience transporting individuals or have dealt with insurance requirements, mention it! This shows you're not just qualified but also ready to meet the practical demands of the job.

✨Brush Up on Digital Skills

As basic digital skills are required for recording notes and using care systems, make sure you're comfortable with technology. If you’ve used similar systems before, talk about that experience.
