Activity Support Coordinator (maternity cover) - The Details:

  • Location: Enniskillen, covering support to families across all of Fermanagh
  • Salary: £13.04 per hour
  • Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Contract Type: This role is temporary to cover maternity leave, anticipated to be for 9 months until October 2026, subject to change based on business needs.
  • Closing Date: 10th December 2025

About the Role:

At Positive Futures, we support people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and autism, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. As an Activity Support Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of this mission, supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives. This role involves organising individual activities for all of the young people supported within the service, which supports children aged 5-18 years old with a diagnosis of a learning disability right across Fermanagh. In this role, you need to be organised, creative, and establish good relationships with both staff, young people, and families.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing Person Centred Support
  • Organising, co-ordinating, and reviewing activities
  • Providing support and guidance for other staff
  • Working as part of a team

What We're Looking For:

We want to hear from people who share our passion! To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Essential Criteria:

  • 12 months experience of supporting people with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism in recreational activities in a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • Experience of planning, organising and implementing activities for children, young people and/or adults.
  • Current registration with NISCC or be eligible for registration on appointment.
  • Full, valid driving licence or an ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience of supervising and supporting other staff or volunteers.
