Complex Care Assistant Nights
Location: Flint
Salary: £15.20 per hour
Shifts: Nights, 22:0007:00 (MondaySunday)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care throughout the night. You will play a vital role in ensuring their comfort, safety and wellbeing, delivering high quality, person centred care in a home environment.
What Youll Do
You will support with a range of complex care needs, including:
- Manual handling
- Gastrostomy feeds and medication administration
- Monitoring skin and tissue viability
- Respiratory support using non invasive ventilation (BiPAP)
- Monitoring oxygen levels and saturations
- Incontinence care, including intermittent catheterisation (daytime routine)
What Youll Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience caring for children with complex needs in a home care setting
- Knowledge of respiratory management
- Experience with PEG/Gastrostomy feeding
- Experience with catheterisation (beneficial)
- A warm, patient and child centred approach
