Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant ready to make a difference?
Were looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our new specialist education service supporting young learners with SEND needs.
This new specialist service provides education for male pupils with varying SEND needs in a calm, rural environment. With small class sizes, a high staff-to-pupil ratio, and access to newly refurbished classrooms and outdoor learning areas, the service delivers tailored education and behaviour plans designed to help every student thrive from Entry Level to GCSE.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, youll play a key part in supporting students both in the classroom and beyond including home tuition, outreach, and outdoor learning. Youll help prepare engaging learning materials, contribute to lesson delivery, and promote positive behaviour and personal development.
Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Mentoring and inspiring learners to achieve their potential
  • Supporting curriculum-based activities and behavioural development
  • Preparing learning materials and resources
  • Monitoring and reporting on learners progress and barriers to learning
  • Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers

Experience

  • A genuine passion for working with students with SEND
  • At least two years experience in a SEND or similar setting
  • Holds (or is working towards) a Level 3 TA qualification desirable but not essential
