Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire
Salary:£24,570 – £25,935 * Per Year
Hours:Full time, Term time only
We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional provision offering education and support to pupils aged 11-16 many with EHCPs and diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD.
Key Duties
  • Support and inspire learners in the classroom, at home, and outdoors
  • Help prepare learning materials and focus on behaviour management
  • Write daily reports on student progress and challenges
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers

Qualifications / Experience

  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous
