SEN Science Curriculum Lead Location: Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire Salary: £32,916 to £45,535 (M1 to M6) Plus an expert payment of £2000 on top Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 per week, Term Time Only About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Science Curriculum Lead to shape and deliver a high quality Science offer for learners aged 719 who require personalised, flexible education pathways. This role is ideal for a passionate Science specialist who thrives on innovation, relationship based practice, and transforming outcomes for young people who may struggle in mainstream settings. You will lead the development of a diverse and engaging Science curriculum delivered through one to one sessions, small groups, and vocational learning environments. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will provide targeted coaching, CPD, and curriculum leadership to colleagues, ensuring consistently high standards across multiple hubs. This hybrid role includes dedicated weekly leadership time, allowing you to focus on quality assurance, curriculum development, and collaborative planning with Learning Managers. You will track learner progress, shape interventions, and uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and learner information processes. You will also benefit from tailored support from senior leaders and opportunities to collaborate with other Curriculum Leads across the organisation.
