Job Description Registered Manager Learning Disabilities ServiceLocation Bordon, HampshireSalary - Β£40,000 plus bonus based on service targetsHours - Full?time | 40 hours per week (flexible depending on the needs of the service)Are you an experienced care leader ready to take responsibility for a high quality residential service for young adults with learning disabilities? We are seeking a committed and proactive Registered Manager to lead an 8 bed home, ensuring exceptional care, strong governance, and a positive, person?centred culture.About the RoleAs Registered Manager, you will oversee the day to day running of the service, lead and develop the staff team, and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies. You will champion the values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment , ensuring every service user receives personalised, high quality support.You will also play a key role in service development, quality assurance, staff performance, and budget management, working closely with the Operations Team to maintain high standards and support business growth.Key Responsibilities Lead the service in line with CQC requirements and company policiesEnsure effective governance, risk management, and incident reportingOversee assessments, support plans, and risk assessments for all service usersPromote service user involvement in decisions affecting their livesLead recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance management of staffEnsure mandatory training is completed and recordedManage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocationInvestigate complaints and maintain high-quality standardsLead staff meetings and service user meetingsParticipate in the on?call management rotaSupport business planning, quality initiatives, and service developmentWork with the Operations Team to manage voids and ensure suitable placementsExperience/QualificationsEs sential NVQ Level 5 in Health Social CareMinimum 5 years experience at managerial/supervisory level in a relevant care settingStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffExcellent knowledge of CQC regulations and key legislation (MCA, H SCA, etc.)Experience managing budgets and resourcesStrong communication and organisational skillsFull UK driving licenceDesirable NVQ Level 4 in ManagementTraining in Risk Assessment, Health Safety, or Challenging BehaviourExperience supporting individuals with complex or challenging needsBenefits A supportive senior management teamOpportunities for professional development and progressionThe chance to lead a well?established service and shape its futureA role where your leadership directly improves the lives of adults with learning disabilitiesTPBN1_UKTJ
