Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Performance Analyst for our client, a government organisation in Wembley, London. The successful post holder will work as an analyst in the Resident Services Directorate, supporting the delivery of performance management, quality assurance systems, and conducting research and analysis to enhance local strategies and plans. The role involves leading data quality initiatives, producing performance reports, performance scorecards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve service outcomes. They will also be required to build data pipelines using available tools including Power Automate, to meet reporting needs and to develop Power BI dashboards that enable data-driven decision making and provide actionable insights. This role is a temporary contract initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working with 3 days in the office required per week.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Support the delivery of performance management for a service area within Community, Health and Wellbeing.
- Lead developments around data quality and improvement, working closely with service areas to support data improvement.
- Lead on a range of performance reporting that supports projects and programmes across the directorate as required.
- Actively develop and improve performance systems, using knowledge and experience to support managers to take ownership of data and data quality.
- Undertake health and equity impact assessments, and other forms of research using modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Lead and support on delivery of all national (statutory) corporate and partnership performance submissions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Lead on delivery of performance reports as required, including supporting operational managers to develop and own performance management information.
- Plan, deliver and lead on national ASC User and Carer Survey complete process, playing a key role in conducting surveys that gather data, analyse trends, create insightful narratives and present them to management.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing surveys to ensure quality and accuracy of data collected.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of the assistant analyst’s work during the ASC User/Carer survey process by overseeing their tasks, providing guidance, and offering support to address any challenges they may encounter.
- Be part of the interview panel on recruiting the best candidate for the temporary Assistant Analyst role during the ASC User/Carer survey process.
- Provide data to key stakeholders, including councillors and external partners, with accurate and relevant data insights through Key Performance Indicators in Corporate returns.
- Report on service savings and expenditures to Senior Management, providing insights into savings performance and identifying additional costs to support informed decision-making and effective resource management.
Personal Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in performance management and research.
- Possess excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to engage effectively across different service areas and drive innovative solutions.
- Proven Power Automate and Power BI development skills and be an advanced MS Excel user.
- Experience building reports with Business Objects, working with large housing data sets and completing statutory returns, particularly the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey, are also highly desired for this role.
Working Hours: 37hrs / Monday - Friday
Pay: £30.48 per hour
Note: This role is within the scope of IR35.
