Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer for our client, a government organisation in Dartmoor, Surrey. This role is a temporary contract initially for 4 months with the possibility to extend. The preferred working balance is hybrid with 1-2 days in the office; however, they would consider remote for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of financial and administrative systems within the Authority.
- Keep under constant review all financial systems and where necessary make recommendations for changes to the Head of Business Support.
- Assist in the day-to-day administration of the Authority’s vehicle fleet, including purchasing & leasing arrangements.
Personal Requirements / Qualifications:
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
- Minimum GCSE Maths grade C or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a financial position.
- Use of financial ICT systems.
- Understanding the role of National Park Authorities (Desirable).
Working Hours: 37 hrs / 9:00am - 17:30pm / Monday - Friday
Pay: £36.00 per hr
Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
