Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for our client, a housing association based in Nottingham. The successful post holder will provide an effective and responsive financial management service to Senior Management and budget-holders of the organisation and its associated entities. This role is a temporary contract initially for 3 months with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working with 2 days remote, 3 days in the office per week.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the preparation of statutory, statistical, and other financial returns, including revenue, fixed assets, development and balance sheet budgets, business plans, and forecasts.
  • Ensure all statutory returns relating to members of the organisation and associated charities are submitted accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Support budget holders and Senior Management with the effective management and monitoring of budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective action where required.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets for charities and services supported by the organisation’s finance function.
  • Provide financial input into business cases, service developments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of Annual Accounts and financial statements for the organisation and associated entities.
