Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant for our client, a local government organisation in Bristol. This role is a 6-month contract with the possibility to extend. Note: this role is fully office-based, 5 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Administrative support to a large team and some transactional work under supervision, including:
  • Property acquisitions
  • Tree preservation orders
  • General property-related work

Personal Requirements:

  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks; some conveyancing knowledge is desirable to assist the organisation in buying property on the open market with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience working in a legal support capacity for a public sector organisation is desirable.

Working Hours: 37 hours/week, 9:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Pay: £22.50 per hour

Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
