Positive Employment is currently recruiting for an HR Consultant for our client, a local government organisation based in Bristol.

The successful post holder will provide specialist HR advice and guidance on a wide range of HR issues, in accordance with the organisation's HR policy and procedural frameworks and relevant legislation.

To lead and manage complex HR casework and HR initiatives.

This role is a permanent position.

This role is mostly remote, however candidates should expect to attend the office on occasion and this may be once a week.

There are also in person team meetings that take place 2/3 times per year.

All others are held remotely.

It's important that if candidates come from outside of Bristol, that they understand the area.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to: Provide workforce insights to inform Equality Impact Assessments (Eq IAs) on HR policy and employment matters.

Support the development and review of policies to embed fairness, accessibility and inclusion.

Act as a key HR link for colleague networks, strengthening engagement and colleague voice.

Use feedback and data to identify EDI risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.

Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on challenging and complex employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with HR policies, organisational objectives and legal requirements.
