Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager for our client, a local government organisation based in Teignbridge. The successful post holder will lead the delivery of the Facilities Management Service, providing leadership, management and operational oversight of the organisation's operational facilities, ensuring they are maintained to high standards of efficiency, safety and sustainability. This role is a temporary contract with an initial contract length of 6 months with the possibility to extend. Hybrid working with 4 days per week in the office and 1 day working from home. Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to: Lead, manage and develop the Facilities Management team, providing coaching, mentoring, training and operational support. Develop and implement a comprehensive Facilities Management strategy aligned to organisational objectives. Manage delegated facilities budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery and supporting service charge budgeting and reconciliation processes. Identify, assess and mitigate facilities-related risks, including health and safety, environmental and legal compliance.
